Polder is designated in the Netherlands as the land artificially reclaimed from the sea through the placement of dikes and drainage ditches. The body of the Polder sofa is located just as low and appears just as flat, standing out like a horizontal line. Hella Jongerius chose five color combinations and matching upholstery for this sofa, accentuated with high-tech thread and large, natural-material buttons.
