Charles and Ray Eames enriched the Eames House collage with many objects brought back from their travels. In the center of the room, on the floor, there has been a black wooden bird for more than fifty years: a piece of American folk art much appreciated by Charles and Ray, which used to appear as an accessory in their photographs.

EAMES BIRD
Charles and Ray Eames made their home, the Eames House, a kind of collage where the most diverse objects they brought from their travels coexisted. For more than fifty years, a wooden bird stood in the center of the room, a piece of American craftsmanship undoubtedly highly prized by Charles and Ray, often appearing as a prop in their photographs.
