EM

Designer and engineer Jean Prouvé developed the EM Table in the 1950s for his “Maison Tropicale” project. Following the “aesthetics of necessity” criteria, even the most minor details of this table are determined by its structure. For example, the sloping legs are connected by a crossbar that makes structural forces and stress flow apparent, usually only seen in engineering works.

The aesthetic aspect of Jean Prouvé’s EM Table complies with certain structural principles and illustrates the interplay of forces and tensions in its construction. It is offered in various sizes and with top-quality solid wood tops or HPL laminate in multiple colors. The tops are 2000 or 2400mm long and available in oak plywood. Thanks to this wide selection, finding the ideal EM Table for each dining room is possible.
