The emblematic BABYLON collection of pot covers, garden vases, and stools, created by the famous designer duo Harry & Camila, constitutes a significant contribution to DEDON’s conception of the Outdoor Lounge. These surprising pieces, recognizable by their fluted, asymmetric, and unstable shapes, can give the impression of unique works of craftsmanship. But, in reality, they are the product of complex algorithms, an advanced rotational molding technique, years of development, and a large dose of imagination and perseverance on the part of their creators, who claim sources of inspiration as diverse as Pieter Bruegel’s Tower of Babel and a couple of soft suede boots that Harry wore in the 80s.
