The design of the rugs in the Mosaïek series is reminiscent of Nolla mosaic flooring, a traditional flooring very characteristic of the Spanish Mediterranean, based on small geometric stoneware pieces. His drawing specifically works the triangle by alternating three shades: a broken white, two yellow and two blue. The softer tone of these pairs produces an interesting graphical effect, like layering with lower opacity.
Mosaïek is a series of rugs designed by Javier Tortosa. Available in two sizes, this is the model in shades of yellow and blue made with the hand-tufted technique and 100% virgin wool, making it a very soft piece with a lot of body. It has a lighter kilim version and another option in gray tones.
